Terms of Use

The practical rules for using the OnlineCare AI app and website — what it does, what it does not do, who may use it and how to use it safely.

Effective date: 7 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 7 August 2026

Quick summary

  • The app gives educational health guidance — not diagnosis or treatment.
  • You must be 18+ for your own account; 13–17 only with a parent or guardian.
  • Using the AI does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
  • Never use it in an emergency. Call 911, or 988 in a mental-health crisis.
  • AI answers can be wrong — always confirm anything important with a professional.
  • Be honest with it. The guidance is only as good as what you tell it.

1. What this document covers

These Terms of Use are the practical, day-to-day rules for using the OnlineCare AI app and website. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, which is the full contract between us. Where the two differ, the Terms & Conditions control.

2. What the app is

OnlineCare AI is an AI-powered health and wellness companion that provides:

  • Real-time voice conversations and text chat about health topics, in multiple languages
  • Guided, symptom-based educational analysis
  • Mental-health check-ins, structured screening questionnaires and wellbeing tracking
  • A digital wallet for health cards, prescriptions, immunisations, lab results and travel documents
  • Personal health tracking with Apple Health, Google Health Connect and supported wearables
  • Over-the-counter medication information and a nearby pharmacy locator
  • Personal time-off note generation
  • Access to independently licensed clinicians, where available in your area

3. What the app is not

The app does not provide:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis or a treatment plan from the AI
  • Emergency or crisis intervention services
  • A doctor–patient relationship with OnlineCare AI
  • Prescriptions from the AI (only a licensed clinician may prescribe, where permitted)
  • A replacement for your regular healthcare provider
  • A guaranteed or authoritative medical record

4. Who may use the app

You must be 18 or older to hold your own account. If you are 13–17, a parent or legal guardian must create and supervise the account and accepts our terms on your behalf. The app is not available to anyone under 13. Certain features are further restricted by the law of your state or country, and the app will tell you what is available where you are.

5. Accounts and sign-in

You can create an account with Apple, Google or an email address and password. Keep your credentials private, use a strong unique password, and enable device-level protection — your account holds health information. Do not share an account with anyone: mixed records are unsafe. Create a separate profile for each family member you manage.

6. Using the app properly

You agree to:

  • Describe your symptoms honestly and completely
  • Use the app for your own health, or for a dependant you are legally responsible for
  • Follow up with a qualified professional where the app tells you to
  • Respect clinicians' time and treat them courteously during consultations

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or use bots or automated tools against the Services
  • Attempt to disable, bypass or manipulate safety or crisis-detection features
  • Submit false information to obtain medication, documentation or a consultation
  • Record a consultation without the clinician's consent
  • Use the Services to harass, threaten or harm anyone
  • Use the Services to provide healthcare to others or to hold yourself out as doing so
  • Break any applicable law

7. Safety features

The app screens every interaction for warning signs before it does anything else. If your input suggests a possible emergency or a risk of harm, the app will interrupt what it is doing and show emergency and crisis resources.

These features are an aid, not a safety net. They do not monitor you in real time, cannot contact anyone on your behalf and cannot dispatch help. Deliberately attempting to bypass them is a breach of these terms.

8. Accuracy of information

We draw on curated clinical reference material and aim for accuracy, but AI output may be incomplete, outdated or inapplicable to your specific situation. Where the picture is genuinely unclear, the app is designed to say so and to recommend the safer option rather than the more likely one. Always verify anything important with a qualified professional.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be unavailable during maintenance, because of a third-party outage, or because of legal restrictions in your location. Guidance requires an internet connection; previously saved summaries and wallet items remain readable offline.

10. Website use

The onlinecareai.com website is an informational showcase for the app. Content on it — including blog articles — is general information and not advice about your situation. Do not submit health details through website forms; use the app, which is built to protect them.

11. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction or compensation. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential.

12. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate access. Where a breach creates a safety or security risk we may act immediately and without notice. Serious matters may be referred to law enforcement.
