Legal Highlights
Every important legal point about OnlineCare AI on one page, in plain English — what the app is, what it is not, what we collect and what you can ask us to do about it.

This page is a readable summary of the agreements that govern OnlineCare AI. It is written to be understood, not to be impressive. It does not replace the full documents — where this page and a full document disagree, the full document controls.
1. What OnlineCare AI is
OnlineCare AI is a mobile application that gives you educational health guidance and a set of practical tools:
- Real-time voice conversations and text chat with an AI health companion, in multiple languages
- A guided symptom checker covering body area, severity, duration and timing
- Mental-health check-ins and structured screening questionnaires
- A digital wallet for insurance cards, prescriptions, immunisation records, lab results and travel documents
- Personal health tracking, including sync with Apple Health, Google Health Connect and supported wearables
- Information about over-the-counter products, plus a nearby pharmacy locator
- Personal time-off note generation
- Where available, video or phone consultations with independently licensed clinicians
2. What it is not
The AI features of OnlineCare AI do not provide medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a prescription. Using the AI does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and us.
Where you book a consultation, the clinical relationship is between you and that independent licensed clinician — not with OnlineCare AI. We provide the technology that connects you; the clinician is responsible for their own clinical judgement.
3. Emergencies
OnlineCare AI is not an emergency service and must never be used as one. If you believe you or someone else is in danger:
- In the United States, call 911.
- For suicide, self-harm or a mental-health crisis in the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) — free, confidential, 24/7.
- Outside the US, contact your local emergency number.
The app does not monitor your messages in real time and cannot dispatch help.
4. Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older to create your own account.
- Users aged 13–17 may use the app only through an account created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
- Some features — including clinician consultations and certified documentation — have additional age or jurisdiction requirements, shown before you use them.
5. What we collect
Unlike a general chatbot, OnlineCare AI is designed to hold health information for you — that is the point of the health wallet and the tracking features. So we collect more than a name and an email:
- Account details — name, email, and optionally phone and date of birth.
- Health information you give us — symptoms you describe, assessment answers, medications, allergies, and any documents you upload to your wallet.
- Conversations — your voice and text sessions with the AI companion.
- Device and wearable data — only the specific metrics you authorise.
- Approximate location — only when you use the pharmacy locator or request local emergency information, and only for that request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share health information with advertisers, data brokers or insurers.
6. How the AI is used
- What you say or type is processed to generate guidance for you in that session.
- Your health conversations are not used to train AI models unless you switch that on yourself in privacy settings. It is off by default.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Treat it as a starting point, not an answer.
- A limited number of interactions may be reviewed by trained staff for safety and quality. Where that happens, content is de-identified wherever possible and every access is logged.
7. Clinician consultations
Consultations are delivered by independently licensed clinicians, subject to the licensing rules of your state. Availability, pricing, prescribing rights and documentation differ by location, and the app shows what is available to you before you book. Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies or for every condition.
8. Medication information
Information about over-the-counter products is reference material, not a prescription and not a dosage instruction. Always read the product label. Speak to a pharmacist or clinician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, treating a child, managing a chronic condition or already taking other medication. Purchases completed with a partner retailer are governed by that retailer's own terms.
9. Mental-health screening
The mental-health tools use structured questionnaires adapted from recognised screening instruments. A screening score is not a diagnosis. It indicates that a conversation with a qualified professional may be worthwhile — nothing more.
The app screens for risk before anything else. If your answers indicate you may be in danger, it stops the assessment and shows crisis resources immediately. It is not a crisis service and cannot contact anyone on your behalf.
10. Your rights and controls
- Access and export — get a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correction — fix anything inaccurate.
- Deletion — delete your account and data. Deletion is permanent; personal data is removed from live systems within 30 days and rolls off backups within 90.
- Withdraw consent — for optional processing, at any time, without losing access to core features.
- Do not sell or share — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Residents of California, Washington, Nevada, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah, Oregon and other states with health-privacy or consumer-privacy statutes have additional rights — see Your Privacy Rights.
11. What costs money
The app is free to download and the core features are free to use. Clinician consultations, certified documentation and certain delivery options are paid, and the full price is always shown before you confirm. Nothing renews automatically unless you explicitly agree, and you can cancel any recurring plan from your account settings.
12. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information — guidance quality depends entirely on it.
- Do not use the app for emergencies.
- Do not use the app to obtain medication or documentation by deception.
- Keep your login credentials private and tell us promptly about unauthorised access.
- Consult qualified professionals about your actual medical decisions.
