1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits (SDKs) inside mobile apps. They can be session cookies, which disappear when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.

2. What we use on onlinecareai.com

We keep this deliberately minimal.

• Strictly necessary — security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off because the site will not work without them, and they do not require consent.
• Preferences — remembering language and display settings so you do not have to set them again.
• Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregated measurement of which pages are read and where errors occur. We use this only to improve the site. Where your law requires consent, we ask before setting these.

3. In the mobile app

The app does not use browser cookies. It uses local device storage to keep you signed in, cache content for offline use and store your preferences, plus a crash-reporting SDK that collects diagnostic information about failures. None of it is used for advertising.

4. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking

We do not place advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or third-party trackers that follow you across other websites. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell data to ad networks, and we do not participate in cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. How to control cookies

• Our banner — where required by your law, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time.
• Your browser — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
• Your device — iOS and Android both let you limit ad tracking and reset advertising identifiers, though we do not use them.

6. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your law requires it. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, a GPC signal does not change anything about how we handle your data — there is nothing for it to switch off. There is no consistent industry standard for the older "Do Not Track" header, so we do not respond to it separately.

7. Changes

If we introduce a new category of cookie we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before setting it.
